Converting Arcade pad to Playstation.

Is it possible? I don't know if this is posted anywhere, but are they making an adapter, or will it already be compatible with a Playstation or PS2?

All else fails, you can directly wire the pad buttons (they're essentially big on/off switches) into a PS2 controller's directional buttons. Lights could become a problem, though.
