Far as I know, all the "colors" have their own levels of difficulty.

A Light 7, Standard 7, and Heavy 7 are not the same...but then, in the end it's really a matter of opinion.

Standard 7's are harder for me than Heavy 7's, but that's just me.

The foot system is ridiculously screwed up. There are a lot of 9's that shouldn't be, a lot of 8's that should be 9's, a lot of 7's that should be 5's, etc. Plus, it seems like everytime they came out with a new mix, they had a completely different group of people decide what songs received what ratings. 3rd Mix is probably the only mix where almost all of the new songs were rated in a sane and consistent manner.

4th and 5th Mix held that sanity as well. My only disagreement is Hypnotic Crisis a 9. I think it's an 8.

No, you can't generalize one way or the other. Even a particular Heavy 7 footer might be much harder/easier than another Heavy 7 footer.

I think that all 7 footers are the same but they are graded harsher according to difficulty. Like Heavy would be graded the harshest.
