I just recieved my RO pad today, and while it has a lot of cosmetic blemishes, its still a decent pad.

My only beef with it is, you have to press the arrow ON THE CENTER, or no register. And, you have to tap it pretty hard, not just step on it.

Anyway to make it more sensitive? The arrows are very slightly curved, not flat. Could that make a difference?

Any help would be great E1.gif

I don't know if the same applies to RO, but CF tells people if their arrows are curved, loosen the screws about a quarter turn to flatten them out.

Uh...that wouldn't help in any way at all. The RO is a lot different from the CF. The RO doesn't have bent arrows, they are flat, and the screws don't hold down the arrows, they hold down the corner braces which are on top of the corner brace slot, which doesn't really hold down the arrow, it just makes sure that you can't take out the panel while the screws are in.

If you can't find porn on the Internet, you're not trying.

The reason why it only works in the center is because the copper contact is small and it's in the center of the panel.

ok, so i opened up the pad and found something interesting...

For those who wonder first off, the RO pad does use metal on contact...

But, the metal is not flush with the arrow. They have this pad that covers the whole arrow, and in the center of the pad, there is metal, but the pad is farther out than the metal.

The contact is also lower than its surrounding pad too...

So what if i got some more sheet metal so that the metal is flush with the pad? Would that make any difference? I want my pad to be pretty sensitive E1.gif
