The DDR Freak staff knows about this post bug, so please don't post about it.
To get to the page that you can't normally click to, just look at the URL and change where it says &start=1140. In that example, you are on page 58 and let's say that you want to go to page 59. Just add 20 to the start number.
Thanks,
DDR Freak Staff, Maple _________________

You can also just go to the last page of the thread by clicking the paper icon next to the lastest persons name before going into the thread. _________________

Or even better yet, when you hit reply, just check in the little scroll bar that shows who said what most recently. I find that's the easiest to do. _________________

Not necessarily, the 21th page of the DDR extreme code had the bug this morning after the alternate code was released.
Though, maybe multiples of 7? _________________

I've seen the post bug on the first, second, third, etc. page before. It's not multiples of seven. |

the post bug can start on the first page if recorded number of replies != actual number of replies.
That's exactly what the post bug is. It's really only noticable when you have page n+1 of n. |

I have a theory on how this bug works, Its just happened in the UK forum again. N+1 of N its when 2 or more people post in close promixity near the end of the page and a fresh page starts N but as 2 or more people are reaching a new page the thread is confused.
I have a few suggestions that might conteract this problem if you lot havent already sorted this out.

I've had it happen in the middle of the page. You can tell you've just postbugged a thread because you get an error when posting, but your post still appears in the thread. However, because of the error, the bulletin board doesn't think you actually posted. Therefore the "number of posts" in the thread is not incremented, you aren't listed as the last poster in the thread, and the thread isn't "bumped" in the forum. If the BB happens to think there are 39 posts in a thread when there are 42, two of them are on that mysterious "page 3 of 2."
Anyway, from time to time I've seen moderators post in postbugged threads and say something about fixing the postbug. Are they adding a post so that people can access the next page, or are they actually fixing the postbug in that thread somehow? If so, how? _________________

I personally have post bugged a page, but I have never received an error from posting during it.
And I think the administrators are be able to go into the coding of the page and make it so it goes to the next page. Possibly? _________________

Weird. Whenever it has happened to me, I got an error when I tried to post, but when I went back to the thread, my post was there, with postbug results. _________________

The mail server response code error is always what has happened when I've bugged a thread too. |
