|
|
I've been playing ITG2 for a while now (PC version on a dancepad). It's really quite exceptional. Unfortunately, the songs are getting a bit old. I can score 80-90% of most of the 5-footers, but struggle with a lot of the 6-footers. I want to diversify and improve on other things.
Unfortunately, I've downloaded a bunch of the OG_DDR_whatever packs and they just aren't nearly as good! I'm can't figure out exactly why. Maybe...
1. The DDR songs just aren't as good (bass line isn't as strong).
2. The step design seems more random and less in-line with the music.
3. Maybe the synch is off slightly, too?
I can't really figure it out. Has anyone else encountered this?
Are there any other song packs out there that are better? Or maybe it's just the Supernova DDR one I'm using. Are some of the older DDR packs better?

Many people (myself included) think so. Try an earlier pack and see what you think. _________________

8th Mix is probably one of the best mixes. _________________

What's an "OG" pack?
Anyway, another suggestion: try the Mungyodance packs. _________________

Oh, I was just referring to "Team OpenGroove" or whatever who converted a bunch of packs from Mp3 to Ogm and posted them here:

An excellent resource.
I'll have to try DDr 8th and mungyodance tonight! Thanks for the suggestions, guys! |
