Hey, ohkay well I've been playing DDR for near two years now. And I have never had a metal pad before (although I find it much easier to play in arcades) I'm playing on a red octane type pad currently (around 70 dollars)
And I'm getting towards the higher things of heavy (I can pass all with A or above except for Maxx >.<) And I really want to get a metal pad now haha..
But I'm not really sure what kind I shuold get ><
I'm looking a good quality metal pad that would last a while and respond well. 2-300 would be the max I might be able to get.
And I've been searching around on ebay and a lot of other places and theres.. so.. many.. choices and uh yea this is getting too long so any recomendations for good metal pads? ^.^' _________________

If you are willing to spend $300, i would reccomend buying a Colbalt Flux. They are the best metal pads you can get (EVER).
If you want 2 mats or are only willing to spend around $100, buy a TX-1501 from Lik-Sang. Ive got one and it works perfectley.
I wrote a review on it: http://www.ddrfreak.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=115237 _________________

Yeah, just get a tx1501 or a tx4000 on ebay. They are cheap and pretty good _________________

Hmm, yea, I'd really like a Cobalt however I don't think I could afford the money for that ^.^'
And I actually already read your review lol..
But yea I believe I'll just go with the TX1501 or 4000
Off of ebay of course, cause I'm cheap like that lol, thanks for the help! =D _________________

I haven't had any experience with this pad, but I am gonna be ordering it tonight probably. It's the MMB MT6. http://www.mymybox.com/ddrmt6.html |

you may need some practice to get used to the pad since like a CF it's completley flat. After a little play you should have it down.
I'm in the process of changing brackets to standard 1" brackets opposed to inhouse sheetmetal ones they use. |
