Clone Songs

anyways

What's the fastest way to delete songs that are exactly the same (same stepchart)? I do it alphabetically and get rid of the clones but what's a faster way?

You obviously didn't search enough.
This thread has already been made but I'll help you anyways.
Go to start>search>all files and folders>browse>C drive>Stepmania (CVS)>Songs.
After that, open stepmania, sort songs alphabeticaly, and look for duplicated songs.
Once you find song(s) dublicated search for that song and 2+ folders of that song should appear.
Delete one folder for that song.

Just in case you're using DDRUK's simfiles, duplicate songs signify either a change in music or a change in the steps (Example: PARANOiA ETERNAL from 5thMIX had its steps changed for EXTREME, and therefore appears in both the 5thMIX and EXTREME packs). Just for clarification. Otherwise the above solution takes care of duplicates.
