Is it good?

I've been looking into buying a hardpad for a little while now, and I've found this one by someone called 'Zion'.
From what I've been told by the storekeeper, it appeared to be well built, and almost identicle to the arcade pad. However, I doubt he had ever played DDR more than a few times, and I was wondering, if anybody had heard of this company or brand before.
The retail price appeares to be about $170 CDN, being mostly metal with a rubber bottom, and is rated for about 300 lbs.
Would this fare well for a half casual, half serious player?
I am around a 7-8 foot level in ITG, but aspire to bring myself as high as I can.
