hey im wondering if the Mad Catz Pump It Up Dance Pad is any good http://www.madcatzstore.com/store/viewItem.asp?idProduct=2377&idCategory=
also can u use a PIU Pad to play PIU on stepmania?
EDIT: i use the Super Dual Joy Box (the light blue one) for stepmania 3.9

thats the offical pad so i guess its ok (its the onloy PIU pap i knwo of for sale)

If it's not a USB pad, then I would assume so. And you won't have to worry about the whole d-pad-maps-to-axes issue because you're playing with L1, L2, R1, R2, and X. Just remember to map your buttons before playing. |

That's the control scheme for it. I'm assuming the PIU pad has a PlayStation-style connector and not a USB connector on it. If it -is- USB, however, you should still be fine as it's probably compatible with the PC versions. |

yeah i have a Super Dual Joy Box so i can connect it through a USB Port as usual. how will i use the Start+Select+Up code on a Pump pad? first of all do i need to use the code? so is this a Andamiro Pump Pad. knowing its made by mad catz, creator of the crappy mad catz beat pads a PIU pad made by mad catz might be the same quality
