http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=801960
Enter: "universal dance pad" In search.

I have been pondering upon getting this pad. Has anyone on the site had any experience with it? Supposedly it has been marked down to 50 dollars after previously being 80. There aren't a lot of facts on it, but i do know that it is made by Pelican. If it is anywhere near the 100 dollar ignition pad's quality then it should be featured on this site's forums for sure.

I would like to see what others say. It may be 5 times worse than the ignition for all i know, but it does have a 4 month warranty by default.

Hi, maybe you should look around in other posts first. There is a post that says something like "I need a recommendation" in the title and it's about this pad. Nobody here has used it, a few of us are thinking about trying it. If you try it plz post a review of it on here.

So noone here has heard anything bad about it? I guess that it is simply a matter of noone knowing anything about it.

My opinion is that if you are buying from your local gamestop, go for it, and if its troublesome, return it, saying that its defective. If you're ordering online, however, shipping can become a really expensive pain if you have to return it.

Yea, but if the pad sucks then i can't return it for another pad of a different brand because of the store's return policy.

hehe sorry to get this old topic back, but i bought this pad, its a piece of crap, after about an hour of playing, the left arrow was sticking, so i took the foam insert out, sticking of the arrow was gone, but i wasnt gonna pay 50 dollars for a ignition pad thats bad so i have to use it like a soft non-slip pad (by the way, the pad doesnt slip at all), so i returned it bought a $20 gamestop pad and modded it the day after, the modded pad works a lot better than this igntion pad. so dont buy this pad
PROS
doesnt slip
raised buttons
CONS
the left arrow on mine stuck
the foam sometimes rips
OVERALL
do not buy this pad, it could have been mine have been defective, but if i were u i would stay away from this pad, just but a 3rd party soft pat and mod it for a total of uhhhhh 5-10 dollars less than the gamestop ignition pad, hey u save 5 dollars and get a good modded pad

Don't buy this pad, I bought the same on and it only lasted about 4 weeks, the down arrow is busted. I wouldn't reccomend buying any pads from gamestop, Iv'e known two people (not including myself) who have baught pads from Gamestop and each one of them has broke within a month
