Seems http://www.ridiculoustiming.com/ has been taken down. I've got StepMania 3.9 with Ridiculous Timing, and ALWAYS use it when I play. Now people won't even be able to download it anymore?

It's a download you can get (well, you used to be able to get) that modifies the StepMania game to have a judgment above Marvelous, called Ridiculous. Once installed, you can turn Ridiculous on and off in the game, as well as Marvelous. If you get all Ridiculous you get a grade of AAAAA. I have five AAAA's including one Single Digit Marvelous on a song with only 60 steps, but no AAAAA. Ridiculous has no effect on long score - any AAAA is still a perfect long score of 10,000,000 times the foot rating, up to a maximum of 100,000,000 for a normal length song. I still have Ridiculous Timing in my game, but if I were to delete it, I may not ever be able to get it back.

There must be someone that has the install package for it. Like if stepmania were to go down, it wouldn't really be an issue because not only is it upload to a bunch of other place, many people including myself have the install wizards saved on their drives.

1. What if you want Ridiculous judgment on something you can't FC? How are you gonna know if your J7 Misses are Good, Boo or Miss?

2. I like the results screen showing seven judgments, from Ridiculous all the way down to Miss. I actually have Ridiculous incorporated percentage scoring in my game:

Ridiculous = +10
Marvelous = +9
"Perfect" = +7 (I changed this to Excellent)
Great = +4
Good = 0
Boo = -10
Miss = -20
OK = +10
NG = 0
Hit Mine = -15

(This is changing the "PercentScoreWeight" lines in the StepMania.ini and "PercentageScoring" to 1, so grading is as normal. The Ridiculous incorporated percentage appears instead of the long score during the song.)

3. I have five AAAA's and don't think I'd have ANY if it weren't for the Ridiculous judgment helping me. I really want to see FOUR A's on the screen when I get a AAAA. And when/if I get a AAAAA, I'll see five A's on the screen.

Maybe it's just me, but I tend to think of Judge 7 as a poor man's Ridiculous Timing.

Then get good enough to FC it.

Or just don't fucking worry about it, because it's goddamn Stepmania and it doesn't matter.

I've still got Ridiculous on mine. I'm glad you can still get it somewhere, though.

I guess if I couldn't have Ridiculous, I'd change the timing windows to match DDR Extreme's, which are:

Marvelous: 15 ms
"Perfect": 30 ms
Great: 90 ms (yes, three times larger than "Perfect")
Good: 120 ms
Boo: 150 ms
OK: 250 ms (I kinda need that for certain hands since my keyboard won't register all four arrows at once)
Mine: 90 ms (assumed to be the same as a Great)

EDIT: WTF? I'm now getting a 403 Forbidden when I try to go to http://www.ridiculoustiming.com/ ?

OK, the Ridiculous Timing website is back up. Its forum is still down, though.
