What do people do while playing DDR that really angers you?

I wouldn't even go so far as saying most no-bar players are dicks to bar players nowadays, but it is certainly true that some no-bar people are dicks.

Yeah, I know most REAL no bar players aren't dicks. I'm referring to YouTube no bar players that go around saying everyone who uses the bar sucks.

I don't use the bar.

I used to be a douche about bar rapers, but I've come to understand where they come from. I've used it more than once when I was exhausted.

I've been in the occasional arcade where kids have no disregard for you. They walk to their mommy by way of in front of the pad. I'm trying to play and I'm like WTF KID MOVEEEEE!

I have almost kicked a kid in the face before. I usually ask the parent to move their child.

one time I was playing and this group of little kids, about 7 or 8, came up and started watching. They were laughing a bunch, and then one kid jumped up on the pad and started stepping on my feet. while I was playing. He was laughing the whole time... I had to shove him off!

Today I had a little kid step on one of my arrows and cause me to lose my 2,000-something combo on ITG. I had to suppress the urge to hit him since I'd already gotten in trouble once at Megaplay. On an earlier trip, I had a kid jump on the 2P pad suddenly while I was playing, causing me to get a Great. My ending score was 98.96% with one Great... so that kid cost me the ***! I still haven't gotten it on that song. Now I get really nervous when I'm trying to run up a big combo, get a *** or both and there are little kids running around the DDR area.

1. People who take forever to pick a song/ listen to song instead of picking
2. People who start stomping on the down button and say 'i'll help u' behind the bars when you're playing
3. People who are like "I'm owning!" and fail the song
4. People who hog the machine
5. People that randomly cut in line

one time my friend was freestyling while playing pump and this kid(prolly under 5) gets on the right pad and gets kicked in the face. It was an accident, but the kid started crying and i couldn't help myself and started laughing.

Some 12 year old boy ran by and picked Happy Wedding for me. Come on. You could have picked a better song.

Also, about the bar raping, I'm so short that I can't use the bar. But I don't really care if people do. Actually, if I get really tired, I use the sides of the bar. Being 4' 9" is terrible.

Oh yeah, and I like crowds. But when the crowd is watching someone play (on heavy) and they're all like "whoooooo this dudee is amazinnng" then it's my turn, and they leave. I even heard somebody whisper "beginner

I was 12 last time I played DDR/Pump in an arcade, and people thought I was amazing. (7/8/9s)

Don't mean to be a dick or anything, but I was 10/11 when I was playing tournaments and passing 9s. Nothing special anymore.

On topic, I find it irritating when people complain about tournaments being unfair because of songs they can't pass. Seriously, if you can't win, don't join.

People here in Indiana get amazed when I do a 7-footer or above - sometimes even 5 or 6!! If only they knew about the kind of people here on DDRFreak, making me look like a peon even when I do 10's.

@*5-MFB*: After I heard my friend's mom tell me that people thought that, I wondered if I was being a egohead, or some others thought of me like that. Especially because I play mostly 250+ BPM songs. (Which I do because I think they are fun) I don't think I am that good, so destructo's right.

Last time I played, someone, of course, jumped on the pad and smashed buttons on the other side. I ignored him, but still, it was annoying. You don't have people come up to you when you play Time Crisis and pretend to shoot you in the head with the other gun, so why this?
