I would like to add some SIM files from the internet to my PS2 In The Groove game. Is it possible to do so?

I'm looking to put SIM files onto my ITG disc if it's possible, not extracting my ITG PS2 disc.

You obviously have no clue where to even start with this. I linked that to you for a reason, you have to READ it, and you HAVE to extract your disc if you want to modify it in any way. I don't even think you should bother if you have that little knowledge about hacking.

Yea, what he said.

Simply put, you must extract the data off the PS2 disc, modify the disc image (add songs), recreate and modify certian files needed to recreate an .iso, and then burn the image to another disc. From there, you must also have a modded PS2, or use something that allows you to use hacked games (slide card and swap magic). It takes A LOT of time and effort, so only attempt if you REALLY want it. There are easier alternatives though (hooking a pad up to a PC with ITGPC or SM).

XD yea, i made a modded ITG PS2, ...BUT, i don't have a modded PS2, so i wasted many hours of my life, untill i mod my PS2 lol. (i learned a bit of stuff though)

Effort? yes, but once you know what you are doing, it really doesn't take A LOT of time. Maybe an hour to rip, add, recompile, and burn again, of course rip the disk to an external drive or something and you don't need to rip it all the time.

the key phrase is "once you know what you're doing." XD To actually find, download, and learn to use the programs takes a long time....and then sometimes multiple burns are required, as there is a lot of room for error... riiight.gif

How is he supposed to learn then?

That is an answer that smacks of arrogance, cosidering the greater percentage (seemingly) of computer users aren't really engrossed into computers to do this in the first place.
