Actually, you could draw the line and make it go to the left of the map, then make another line come from the right of the map down to Australia and it would look less of a distance.

Okay, so I've decided I want a BlueShark. But what is the chance that I would get a bad one? I ordered a "SOLOMODE 6 BUTTON" metal pad from MMB before, and it arrived defective. I want a BlueShark, but I'm just worried I might get a crap one.

To videoCWK, I posted this a few posts back, but here it goes.

The Blueshark is the best pad, better than CF IMO, it is like the arcade, it will help you improve, obviously,
so If you live in Southern California

First, call to make an appointment, 213-291-8789

Second, the address
Mymybox
27825 Ave Hopkins #4
Valencia CA, 91355

Third, they will say to go around 1 pm, now if you live pretty far, Six Flags is only 2 minutes away, zomg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So what I did is went to six flags, then went to buy the pad, ate outside,(save money), then go back to six flags. That was my plan but if you go they will make you test out the CF first. If you are willing to buy the pad up front, then tell them to open a new one, and if it works, you will buy it.

That is what I did, hopefully someone will do this cause it is worth it.

Sounds good, I'll remember that if I ever go to SoCal.

To my current understanding, it's better than the CF as far as arcade feel goes. I have a CF right now (a working one), and the sensativity is pretty damn good. I wouldn't be surprised if it was equally sensative, but if it was somehow more sensative, I'd be pretty impressed.

GG for finally getting a good one, i remember you were pretty upset awhile ago about how it wasn't working good or something.

And also, am i the only one here that dislikes really sensitive pads? i mean, most of the reason why i get wayoff's on my flux is because it is way too sensitive... i like the sensitivity on ITG dedicabs, nothing more or less sensitive.

Actually, it's the same one. I sent it in, they played on it, and had no problems. This puzzled me, but when I got it back I didn't play much and then recently I've been playing on it a lot, and it magically works. I don't know what happened to make it work, but as long as it works, I don't care, either. It's just nice to have a pad that works, because I was pretty angry when it was still giving pad misses. You'd be angry too if you payed nearly $400 for something that didn't work right.
It's 'cause the best way to fix a Cobalt Flux is to smack it around until it works again, since they're basically indestructible. The shippers probably banged it around a bunch, solving the problem. E15.gif

How much have people had to pay to ship back their BlueSharks?
Shipping is free, but they're refusing to pay for packing.
Most stores won't even pack it, and it cost me $61 at the UPS Store (since they have to make a custom box and various things).
They also haven't been answering their phones again.

What have people's experiences been? I know someone here was shipping their pad back.

You should have just wrapped it in bubble wrap then taped a bunch of cardboard to it. E15.gif

Or, just save the box it came in.
I saved my tx1000 boxes for two months, then one of them promptly broke. xP

That wouldn't come as a lot of shock. The box was shredded up quite a bit when I got it back, and there was broken styrofoam all over the pad and stuff.

I'm actually serious too. By knocking it around, you shake loose any accumulated dust, rust, or dirt in the panels. It's not going to break the pad either, so really, knocking it around a bit is undoubtly the most fun way to clean your CF. I'd say you'd do best to toss it off your roof, then go down, get it, open it up, clean off the panels, then AAA like no tomorrow. The risk in doing that would be damaging the ground though.

Simply playing on it regularly helps too. xP

you can go to yahoo.com and type cardboard box and you will see the many company list that sell boxes.

or you can go to http://www.papermart.com/templates/26-0-10.htm

or http://www.uline.com/ProductDetail.asp?model=S-7355 get a few of these boxes and wrape it up.

another easy way to wap your pad is go to uhall and buy a few of this big boxes ( https://store.uhaul.com/product_detail.aspx?id=3588 ) and pack it. it will not cost like $40~$60 where ups or fedex. it you go to thier store, they will rip you off. why would you spend $40~$60 for the boxes where you can buy a few of big boxes to wrap your pad around $10.00

my friend called mymybox to buy a blueshark control box, they pick up the phone after 3 rings. here is the phone numbmer: 213-291-8789 that my friend called Yesterday.

Could someone confirm that it is possible to set up an appointment with MyMyBox this way (if at all)? I've called them quite a few times with no answer. Perhaps - despite the claim on their website that they are open 24/7 - they have certain hours? iono. I'm trying to figure out when/if I could stop by and test out a BlueShark. Thanks~ :3

I have found the best time to call is around 5:00pm EST (2:00pm PST I believe?). I didn't realize they have a new number - I'll try that this week, thanks.

I read this thread and ended up buying one. Im crossing my fingers big time. Too bad they dont have tracking, I love tracking. Well yea i just thought Id join the thread since mine is hopefully on the way sometime soon. Does anyone remember how long it generally took for their pad to come in and how they had it shipped?

it takes 1 week, since your in AR, it will take 1 week, maybe 2, but the reason why the sharks get messed up is because of the shipping, but the boss told me that they got new types of boxes to fix it, he was nice and told me all about it, and the customer service is improving!!!

but a few minor problems I had was the two rubber pieces inside to hit the sensor fell, im guessing it got hot (when I went to six flags and it was in the trunk) and fell, but its easy to fix, just need super glue and boom! ready to go, bought mine about 2 weeks ago, runs perfectly.

MyMyBox is continuing to get better!
I couldn't get through to them on the phone again yesterday, but they CALLED ME BACK the same day (I did not leave my number with them). The person on the phone was very friendly and answered all of my questions.

I think this might be a good time (FINALLY) to get a BlueShark!
