That's pretty much correct, although anything less than x1 would count as a mod.
Yeah because you know, ITG has tons of speed mods less than 1x.

And seriously, would there be a section for dizzy? One for bumpy? One for dizzy and bumpy? What about Decel? See how confusing this would be?

Actually, there would be one for normaml play, with just the default mods like Perspective, Noteskins, Mini, and Speed mods, and a Mods section for any combination of Mods. Just one section for a "modifier run".
I still don't understand this at all. There couldn't be rankings then on specific songs because people would have used different mods. And if you had two different scores on the same song with different mods...?

This thread makes me laugh really hard.

97.35% on QoL for not playing it in 4 months.

Other than that,I got a few things today that were kind of decent.

I'm pretty horrible at this song.

At least I didn't get a dropped hold this time.

Woo, another SDE!

Oops, I did one of the streams backwards to get those decents. I'll 98 it next time now that I can FEC mostly all of it.

Haha, I'm a faggot. I got a great E2.gif

Oh, Luke and me were screwing around on this and we tied.hahaha...my best is two on it by the way.

It wouldn't be set up exactly like the normal Groovestats ranking. You could have about three scores for one song since you use different sets of mods each time. Challenges would work the same, though.

How bout we just have a groovestats where every song must be played on invisible, so I can be #1 at something.

I claim printing off notecharts and sticking them to the screen. (kidding)

Makes me wonder if people who play on Mirror do that.

No, you read the mirror stepchart...

Anyway...

Space Man (Expert) 95.76%
Haha, I went down for a hand too late, and got the decent. And got the greats in the gallop/spins which I can't seem to do...

Clockwork Genesis (Hard) 94.28%
Haha, the stops get me off guard - but mini helps me FC them. The problem is, I can't really FA with mini though. laugh.gif This was a qualifier from a previous tournament I was at, and I sucked at it then too so now I'm going to be playing all of the weird charts that no one plays so I can have a "gaurenteed" win song in tournaments. I need to practice this majorly.

Oasis (Easy) 100.00%
Arcade Easy #8

Music Pleeze (Hard) 98.31%
Sightread.

Life of a Butterfly (Hard) 98.04%
Pad dropped hold.

Sweet World (Expert) 85.72%
Simo...teach me how to FA this. >_<

I JUST STARTED DISTANT, I CAN'T FA ON IT. >_<

Xuxa (Expert) 88.56%
Getting better at 16th runs...

Desiny (Expert) 82.46%
Wow, I full-comboed the beginning run yet I ended up with a pretty bad score. The pad wasn't that great though, so I feel some of them were the result of the pad. I will break 90%.

Everytime We Touch -Long-
My first simfile...it's incredibly stamina draining...like Heaven, with 16th note runs (some crossovers), hands, and lots of jumps. =\ I'll make a video of this once I revise it and everything.

DarkCore, I have questions:

1. Why do you play on Distant?

2. Could you tell me an easy quad on Easy I should go for?

3. I want your Every Time We Touch simfile when it's done. Wow, it's ~1000 steps.

3x, Overhead is too slow, and 4x Overhead is too fast. Therefore I simply bump it up a speed and change the perspective because I prefer reading faster speeds.

Spin Chicken and Kiss Me Red are pretty easy. Just simple 4th notes, keep stepping to the beat.

If you have MSN, I can give it to you right now. I thought it was relitively onsync, but my friend said it's majorly offsync, so I might redo some parts. You should test it for me or something and say your opinion. xD

I wouldn't advise playing on Distant if you want to increase the speed mod. It basically negates the increase in the visual largeness of the Fantastic window that comes with an increased speed mod because of the angle of the stationary arrows. I'd suggest Hallway, Incoming, Space or to just start playing on Mini.

Yeah, I hate Hallway though, so I'm probably going to get used to Distant because I even really good players use it and have quadded harder songs. I use Mini sometimes though, but due to the size I have trouble FA'ing.

Thanks for the compliment, I should be able to * it, but I just need to double step the gallops. If you've played the chart you know what I'm talking about.

Oh, and PM me, and I'll add you on MSN. It's offbeat-ish so I need to fix some stuff but you can at least try it.

DarkCore, get on MSN now, I already have you added on mine and I want to try that file.

Oh, and for Sweet World you handle those flams as extremely fast gallops. You almost just want to have them as jumps.

This is coming from someone who's FA is pretty decent.

I don't have MSN installed now, but maybe you could upload it to Megaupload.com or something when it's fixed (if it even needs to be).

And that Sweet World score isn't all that bad.

Uhhh, this is how I do it. I consider those weird gallopy jump thingys as between a jump, and your average gallop. It's pretty much a jump, except one foot lags behind the other, barely though. Try it with your fingers on a table or something, thats how I got it. Also, play on mini, at first its tough, but in the end it = WIN! E13.gif laugh.gif Going to arcade tomorrow, so hopefully some videos, and some cool new scores! E1.gif

I don't get why people think Sweet World is that hard to FA..I personally think it's one of the easier 10s.

And DarkCore's a lazy bum.

First 12 Footer at arcades (11 months now..)
Vertex - Overhead, Cel. No speed mods, mini, or nothing. Perfectly 100% legit against all you mod haters ;_;.
