i don't play IIDX much but i love it. it's a great game and i love playing DistorteD. i can only play some 7keys but it's all good. when you pay a $25 flat rate at Tokyo Game Action, it's all i need to play. one day and i'm satisfied for a week. as for the cs, i play at my friend's house whenever i get the chance, but i'm getting a flip top really really soon _________________

Does anyone know if you can use High Speed mods in Hip-Hop Mania Complete Mix 2? I'm going to an arcade that has that there soon and I'm wondering if you can. |

Hey, I was on YouTube and I saw videos that people posted - it looked as if they were running the arcade versions of Distorted and HS on their computer! Probably not legal, but pretty awesome. Anyone know what the deal with that is? (I AM NOT ASKING HOW TO DO IT OR WHERE TO GET THE FILES, IF THAT IS HOW IT WORKS.)

Yeah apparrently you can take the upgrade CD provided for installing on a machine and rip it to a computer, or maybe its a hard drive. Whatever it is it ain't that great anyways in my opinion. I haven't been able to find a USB converter decent enough to play well on my PC and time the game. Just stick to the CS styles unless you REALLY REALLY want to play DistorteD I guess. _________________

Question. I've got an Action Replay Max for my PS2. Is there anyway to get a BM Red save onto my memory card, cuz I was able to get DDR Str!ke & Pop'n Music saves (for GF/DM V) on my memory card via GameFAQs. But when I tried BM, it didn't work. Also, are there any AC codes for Red that'll let me unlock all the pics? |

Yes, they're running a hacked arcade hard drive on their PC. Yes, I'm doing this also. I have 10th, RED, Happy Sky, and DistorteD.
No, I won't tell anyone where to get them. _________________

Is it true that it's mandatory for current/active Bemani artists to contribute (read: make songs) for IIDX, regardless of the music game they're originally based in?
Since 6th Style, Naoki's been making IIDX-exclusives, while styles later on, both jun & Sota have been doing likewise. In Happy Sky, Yuei Uematsu (Handsome Jet Project head honcho) joined Shrine 418 for Little Little Princess. Mutsuhiko Izumi (GFdm sound producer) & Des-ROW (one of the PoMu's 4 Horsemen... er, sound producers) did the misplaced song (read; too thrashy-bashy for IIDX), Double Thrash. Even Asaki first did it in HS, as a member of Ginger.
Is there truth into this? _________________
BeForU was easily the heart and soul of DDR, until someone in Konami thought that it's a threat to the current structure (read: Konami's blatant overfunding of IIDX/pop'n). |

I've always thought that they change around lead musicians for the games. Like Naoki was the lead for DDR and Taka and TaQ was the lead for IIDX. But now it seems SOTA leads DDR and Tatsh and Naoki are doing IIDX. Taka seems to have gone to Pop'n. TaQ has dropped from bemani all together. _________________

Discuss. | A OMES that was originally on DDR FIRST?! How interesting... DO I see Chaos & other SN boss songs being on the home versions & next arcade releases? Yeah, I saw that in YT yesterday.
Anyways, I'm finally gonna be able to play a BMIIDX Red in the arcades. Anything I should know about? i.e. what's different than the home, the effects, swiching difficulties, that kind of Arcade stuff?
& is there a list of old songs that I can play on it? I own Red for PS2, so I won't be really interested in playing the "new" songs. |
