Well it is pretty much self-explanatory... Do Not Play DDR if you are under extreme motion sickness and etc. So I say you did the right thing ^^.. |
Well, it could have been an import. Like Max2 or somthing, so text is illegible in America. But that's still no excuse for lacking common sense. |
From what I can understand (I've never been drunk), when your drunk, there is no common sense. _________________

That would depend on the extent of the inebriation. If you've had a few drinks, it just makes life more fun, and if you can handle it you don't experience too much loss of common sense or control. But of course, at a certain point you stop being coherent, your body stops reacting normally to stuff, you can't stand, you throw up, you're angry and confused and you feel terrible and life sucks.
So don't get to that point. And DDR while drunk seems like a terrible idea to me _________________

You know what really ticks me off? When you get...Uhh.. how can I say this without sound racist, well, you get ignorant African-American girls how get up on the machine acting like it's a "dirty dance dance revolution" What do I mean? they think it's an excuse to dance like they are at the club.....
Another thing that pisses me off, When little kids will get up on the panels and jump around in between songs and change the modifiers, one kid put all the dang modifiers on once and i didn't realize it till i got to the song... luckily i barely passed it, the kid got a stur talk to when I was done..
Another thing.. HOGS! OMFG. people who hog the machine....
Oh, and kids who get pissed off when you go to set your token up on the place thing ( some people DDR have it, some don't, but it's a place to set your token to call the next game)
some dude once said i was cutting in line just because i was setting my token up there to play next, started cussing at me and threatening me, i told the arcade lady, I left, because he was lying, it was funny to watch him attempt to PMSO on heavy..... |

It's late, but I'm remembering one girl that really kinda flipped out on me for what really is a stupid reason and her fault to begin with.
The card line is acceptable and enforced only by the players (arcade doesn't recognize nor enforce it). The issue here is after I got off work and placed my card up to indicate I was waiting, this girl, whom earlier in the day was wanting to play before I clocked in, after finishing her game went to play another one. I never said anything, and after one song while I was still standing there waiting, she half-yelled at me about how I deserve to wait like I made her do earlier.
The reason this is annoying is that she was complaining about not being able to play, when at the time in question, I was playing, and she did not SAY anything or DO anything to indicate she wanted to play next. I am unable to read minds, nor do I really pay much attention to the people who are standing well behind the game. Usually just means they want to watch and not be in the way of people walking by.
I don't get it. She didn't do anything to show she wanted to play next, so why did she spaz out like that when I made it clear I was waiting to play? Probably a good thing I haven't seen her since. _________________

I really hate it when I'm waiting in line, and while the people who are on the machine are playing, someone swipes their card (at GameWorks) to basically say "Get lost - I'm next." I also hate it when I've been waiting in line for 15 minutes, and somebody just pops in out of nowhere, and swipes their card - I feel that's really unfair! The reason I don't swipe my card like the other people do is because I'm actually considerate, and don't want to distract and mess up the people playing. |

There aren't many considerate players around here like you
Anyways..
This man put his CREDIT CARD in the coin line and these two boys steal it trying to be funny and the man gets angry at the arcade man! He shouldn't of put it up there in the first place. Or just used a coin. |

Today I was at the arcade playing, when I encountered the thing that annoys me the most. People that sit there and lean on my bars and grab all over them! OMG it annoyed me so much. I kept leaning back going for the bar, then I end up feeling hands on it....now had it been some really hot chick I probably wouldn't be complaining, BUT NO, it has to be some creepy guy that is always hiding out around the arcade.
I sware, I could have punched the guy. He did it like three times. Finally told him to move away from the cab after the 3rd time. |

I would have told him to back off after the first time.
Keeping this train of thought, the only time anybody ever actually got close to the pad to try and annoy me was when this group of 3 young teens, probably 13-15 years old, were watching, and one of them placed his foot above the down arrow. I was on the 3rd song of my warmup, Mahou no Tobira Standard.
This is where it gets funny. It only took my stomping his foot ONCE to get him to back off.
This is where it gets even more hilarious. I scored a Perfect on the step I smashed his foot with. _________________

I was at the DDREX machine at Blueclaws Stadium in Lakewood, NJ at some point, and while I play I take the stuff out of my pockets and put them on top of the machine. Well, while playing this group of 14-year-old or so girls were being really obnoxious, jumping in front of me while I'm trying to read the screen, hitting the arrows on the pad at random times, being generally miserable human beings. Naturally I asked them, first politely, and then pretty angrily, to buzz off, but they weren't having any. So I left halfway through the set, pretty pissed. I had gotten about fifteen feet away and went back, realizing I had left my stuff, but when I got there my cell phone was gone. My keys and wallet were still there, thank God, but they had taken my cell phone, and I never saw them again or got my phone back. That was the worst arcade experience I ever had. I was pretty pissed. _________________

I have a bad habit of leaving my stuff on the Max2 machine in town. But everyone (including employees) know that I am one of the only people in town that plays DDR in the arcade (probably less than 10 ppl actuallly play in the arcade). A friend of mine once grabbed my wallet I had left and tossed it ontop of the Blitz 99 machine. Took me like 30 min to find....lol |

I was at Funworld in Nashua, NH, waiting to play ITG... I saw a girl (probably about 15-16) talking on her cellphone while playing on the DDREX machine. Needless to say, she wasn't doing very well. Plus, she was on light. Ugh.
Although I must admit, it was probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen. _________________
