Ordered my Blueshark today =D Will Give a Full review on it after playing on it for a week or so..
in a couple of weeks

ok guys i got my nexen today and i noticed that the package was beat up (at least in the corners)
i opened it, got the pad out, a lil dent in the corner but its barely noticeable
plug it in, played supernova on socks, i gotta tell you that its not as great as i thought
on my modded softpad all i have to do is slide my feet and it registers
on my nexen, i kind of have to put some pressure to get it to register
anyway, pics and reviews are coming later, for now im just so darn happy

Don't forget that the pad needs to be broken first.
Once you play alot, the metal will become more flexible resulting in higher sensitivity.

Like that. You see how the down arrow is slightly bending upward? Are the Nexen's arrows like that? If they are that's probably part of the problem.

Similarly. The nexen appears to be flat, but when you tighten the screws at the sides of the panels, it seems to push the corners down, leaving the inner parts being the highest point. However, it's not as noticable as the pic you showed

That's true, but with the different control box, you just press A on the opposite side of where X should be and it should function properly. I could be wrong, but that's what I've gathered.

i cant really tell whether the nexen arrows are bent because it is surrounded by a metal border

but hopefully youre right about the breaking into theory *crosses fingers*
edit : so when people say to debow their arrows, they mean just losen up the screws?

I think the arrow panels are bent up a tiny bit, but I'm not 100% sure on that. All I know is that if I play with socks I can feel where I am, but if I play with shoes I can't tell what is arrow and what isn't.

I just got a new digicam so I'll take some better pics soon. I've had these pads for a couple of months now and they're still holding up, and they don't look worn out at all (except for some cat hair lol).

*EDIT* Alright here's the deal, all of the corner and arrow buttons are completely flat. I ran my finger across the pad and couldn't tell when it changed from arrow to corner. HOWEVER, the center panel is raised up a little bit, so you can tell where you are in socks. I guess you could try raising this up more on your own...

I can definitely feel the bottom corner and middle panels to be raised a bit.

As for how my pad is holdin up, it's actually pretty good

. I can actually pass max300 with a B, whereas on the school's AF i cant even finish it lol. And as for sensitivity... at first I thought it was a bit off, but now I just think it's that max, max2, and supernova's reg windows arent the same. I tried playing the 3 of them one after another and it feels like max is a TINY BIT delayed compared to the others o_o
