Your kid is insanely good for his age! I am very impressed!!

But, I recommend that you put a piece of plywood and tape it to the pad, so that the pad won't tear up (I can beat Sakura on it, and it keeps on ticking!).

Here are some 8s that Ryoto can try (because he can FC Jane Jana, which for most people is very hard to accomplish):

NOTE: This is the recommended order. This is just my opinion because I've been in this spot before.

(looking through EX JP songlist)

TwinBee ~Generation X~
Love This Feeling (mattering how good his endurance is)
Pink Rose
Trip Machine
La Bamba (pretty fast though)
Kakumei (Oni/Challenge)
Sync (let off on this until he is confident enough to try it (on Heavy))

Tell him to keep on truckin', have fun, and stay in school!!

Out of interest, has your play improved after helping him out (just curious).

So um, is it bad that awhile ago I was watching Family Guy, and when Quagmire came on, I thought something to the effect of "Whoa, It's AA Bob!" (I don't remember if the exact thought was "It's AA Bob" or "It's AA Bob's avatar", but I don't think it matters in this case)?

Impressive. Generally, he isn't anything special... but when you consider he is five it's like "woah!". You got a prodigy on your hands bub.

looks like half the challenge that comes to him from the game is getting around on such a big pad E4.gif . Maybe someone should make a "DDR Jr. Pad: Inspired by Ryota" for little kids!

anyhow, great job. It's funny to see a 5(or maybe 6 now?) year old play DDR better than i could when i was 11.

Hi. Ryota is still 5. He'll become 6 next month. Ryota's Move will be 2nd series when he became 6.

my brother Jason just turned 10 and he entered the jacob javits competition in regular division. He made it in the top 32.

he can do 10 footers but its eaisier for him to play on the soft kind of mats than on the arcade version because
the arcade version is harder to press the buttons. you have to stomp on the arrows

hes so little and hes skinny so its hard 2 stomp on the arrows.
my brother plays ddr alot
did anyone here go to the jacob javits competition?

my brother was videotaped alot! one guy asked for him to maybe be on tv!

its funny to see him play against all the older kids.

they think hes a beginner but then they play with him and he will do challenge mode on xpher or something and

laugh.gif he will probably beat them!

sometimes I cant believe how good he is

how does he even press the buttons!

I cant even beat him! blink.gif
lol oh well. I catch up someday....maybe

If he gained a little weight, I'm sure he'd do really good @ the arcade too.
