Hey you guys, for some strange and unknown reason, i've just realized that i have a fascination with classical music... I know, im weird. Anyways, there are a few DDR songs (that i know you all know of) that i would like to know the actual name, symphony no., or suite no. for. Here are a few.

-V (Four Seasons- Winter, Vivaldi)
-M (Moonlight Sonata- Full Version, Beethoven)
-Kakumei (Revolutionary Etude, Chopin)
-Beethoven Virus (Pathetique Sonata, Beethoven)
-No. 13 (Invention No. 13, Bach)
-Pump Me Amadeus (Symphony No. 25, Mozart)
-Moonlight (Moonlight Sonata, Beethoven)
-Dr. Man (Symphony No. 40, Mozart)
-Scorpion Fire (Oringinal Piece)
-Carezza (Original Piece)

I think that pretty much covers the ones that im looking for. If you can give me the composer too, that would be awesome. Thanks all.

Kakumei is some etude something or other by Chopin. (Beethoven Virus originates from Pump It Up, not SM). Some other classicals you might enjoy are No. 13, Pump Me Amadeus, Moonlight (sort of), Dr. M, and Scorpion Fire (though that is entirely piano, but awesome).

I have PMUA (Symphony no.25, mozart) which is a fantastic piece, that was the first one that i found. And all of those other ones are also classical techno pieces, huh? I'll update then. Thanks for the chopin one, I think i got it =).

Pie dude, that's for V. I thought that was what it was, but i didnt know the composer. Some of Vivaldi's most remarkable works, I got all 4 seasons. You rock dude!

M (and probably Moonlight, though I've never heard it) are based off of the third movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.

It's Pump Me Amadeus, not Pump Me Up Amadeus.

Yes, M is from Moonlight Sonata.

Does Scorpion Fire have any classical origins? I thought it was an originally composed piece.

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

No. 13 is Bach's Invention no.13 in a minor, I think.

Beethoven Virus has a bit of the 3rd movement fo Beethoven's Sonata Pathetique in C minor. There might be more than that in it though, I didn't recognize the middle part as being from the sonata, though I'm not entirely sure.

Scorpion Fire (also known as Anti-ares/Antares) is an original peice. The artist listed for it, Virkato Wakmaninov, is an alias, maybe a tribute to composer Sergei Rachmaninov.

So that's why the word 'Pathetique' shows at the end of the BG video!

M is only the 3rd movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, and even then it's watered down.

Scorpion Fire is Scorpion Fire. It's in no way remixed.

Ok, Scorpion Fire is not an original name, so i'm looking for the actual name of the piece. Do you know who the composer is?

Like he said...Scorpion Fire is Scorpion Fire, that's the original, there's no classical version of it.

Just noticed Carezza in the main list. As far as I know, all of Osamu Kubota's songs are original, not based on classical songs.

Ok, then basically all that leaves is No. 13 and Dr. Man (which i've never heard, but it was suggested). My work here is almost done, unless of course you guys are interested in any other titles, then i can always update.

Here are some Pump It Up ones:

Dr. M = Mozart's Symphony No.40

Turkey March = Mozart's Rondo alla Turca

Maria = Franz Schubert's Ave Maria

Point Break = Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 3

Bee = Rimsky-Korsakov's The Flight of the Bumblebee

Get Up!! = Beethoven's Ninth Symphony

Pump Me Amadeus = Mozart's 25th Symphony

Canon-D (Part of the Memories #1) =Pachelbel's Canon

Moonlight = Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata's 3rd Movement: Presto agitato

Trivia: The PIU song X-TREME samples Gorgeous 2012, which was composed by Naoki for DDR, under the pseudonym The Surrenders.

Actually, the name of the piece isn't Scorpion Fire. That's simply a direct translation of the two kanji in quotes in the name of the piece.

The full name is "PF Piano Concerto No. 1 'Antares' (Arrangement for Keyboard and Disc)".
