A DDR Movie: What if?

They made a movie about the daily occurances of Monks that have takin' a vowe of silence. A DDR movie would be plausible, no, infact it would pwn.
It would be about some individual over-coming some insurmountable obstacle of doom. And at the end, there would be one last battle between the protagonist and his rival atop an errupting volcano; with lost of sex, gore and violence to boot. Yes, the box office event of all time!

Actually one more condition: If less than half of the movie consisted of people actually playing the game. The characters would be enough to make it DDR... and if you don't like the characters... well... you may be in the group who doesn't want the movie period, so...

... and if the girls are made hot, Rage and Akira better be hot, too... though I might be happier if they were all kept to their regular cute forms. The arcade/PS2 versions, not Ultramix, from what I've seen...

And yes, the Japanese can pull just about everything off.

Just don't let Uwe Boll do it. We don't need another scar in the "video game/movie" relationship. & don't make them look like the Ultramix series or Extreme 2. & it'd be cool if like DJ Taka, Naoki, & Captain Jack appeared in it. & those dudes from the DDR BGs. *GASP* IT'S MAX & THAT DUDE FROM "A"!

Now, what would it be rated? Let's see, if the Japanese did it, it could be like around PG-13 for Mild Language, Mild Violence, & Partial Nudity......maybe......

Maybe if they brought that Tokimeki whatsitrather version (in another thread in DDR Chit-Chat section) to an animÃ© version? Y'know, just cut out the gaming bits and replace them with actual character-type stuff as necessary.

I'd buy it in the year it came out. Then I'd drive away (all) my room-mates/girlfriend/buddies/etc. with "THOSE SPIKEY HAIRED PEOPLE ZOMG"

DDR driven plot line would only make a above average anime at best. It would not be a good live action movie.
