Anyone care to place friendly non-monetary wagers as to whom will be first (on this thread) to get 100% unlock?
Or the first to hack the whole think and get that 100% unlock?

I've been watching this thread since the very first day it was made. Aug 17, 2005. I just had to post this one time to express how excited I am for the release, and I cannot wait until I get my copy. I hope to hear some good news from those of you who are getting your copies today.

The game ships today. So unless you live by one of the wharehouses you wont get it until tommorrow on the 29th or 30th....at least thats what they told me.

Yeah it ships today...so I guess only a handful of stores will get it today. Im going tommorrow to pick up my copy. I still owe $30

Is there any sort of saying you can have if you absolutely DON'T get your copy on release day? I'm looking at you Gamestop/EB guys. Like can I get some cash back or soemthing if they don't have my game tomorrow?

I just called the local EB games here. They said that they didn't get their shipment yet. So it might or might not be coming today. I hope its on the truck. Anybody else got any updates?

I don't think so. Back when DDR Disney was released the store I reserved it at got it like a week later than the other store in town, but I couldn't get my money back so I had to wait it out. :/
They'll let you keep the store credit if you decide to cancel your preorder and go elsewhere, but I don't think you'll get any cash back. |

i work at gamestop and i can tell you now that when a game has a release date of 28th most of the time it means that is the ship date. stores
like EBgames and GAMESTOP dont actually get shipment til the next day
usually around noon. there are rare occasion like the madden games which are hugely popular among the masses that allows the store managers to pick up the shipment directly from the airport to be sold the same day. |

That pre-order is 100% refundable (I work at EBGames).

I'm a first time player with no real desire to unlock anything fast... in fact I like taking my sweet time with games.

Ok, all ya'll who work at eb or gs, or anything like that. Why don't they change the release date to reflect when you can pick it up. It would make things much easier than. That's how it works with movies, so why not with games. In fact, stores usually get movies days ahead of the official release date (according to those I know who work at blockbuster/hollywood, on the saturday or sunday before the tuesday release). |
