Yeah, they're good when you start out. However, as you get better and better you'll get sick of the pads. _________________

I play nine and ten footers on heavy and I play almost everyday and like you said, I was getting sick of soft mats but wireless one still holds up a bit. I glot the DDR extreme 2 bundle with controller for christmas and it;s the best soft mat I have played with by far. It's surprisingly durable and accurate and doesnt slip. |

Don't worry, it's a pad thread, it's not like one of those threads that are pretty much meaningless and/or not a very involving thread (like answering people's questions), it's not like these pad threads are going to be posted in every two seconds. This was an okay bump, but bumping some other types of threads will lead to flaming, "Why did you bump this thread OMG (!)" posts, and/or a lock (most likely to happen when bumping the wrong kinds of threads).
Since I'm here, why don't I give my input? Sounds like a plan to me. Anyway, I still have mine (after a year and two months), but I don't use it anymore. My down arrow is completely wiped out and my left arrow is going bad. This wouldn't have happened during play, though. The culprit was me leaving it out on the floor during the night and my cat would lay on the arrows, thus wearing out the sensors. Oh well, it was excellent while it lasted . _________________

Nowhere. I've never seen the pad without the game, so good luck on finding one that actually works and isn't on Ebay |

This pisses me off because I don't and probably can't play 10 footers on it because it'll frick up, but yeah - everything else is perfect about this pad. I've gotten AAAs on Extreme US with this pad. Whee. |
yeah it's pretty disturbing how long my konami soft pad has lasted. i've been slowly transitioning to heavy mode and i still haven't found anything wrong with my pad. |

I'm having the same problem. I haven't even used the pad that much. I have two, the other one which I use more often still works great. |

interesting problem. it could be a sensor issue. maybe cutting open the pad and replacing the material that helps to separate the contacts might help. i'm not fully aware of the process since my pad is still working and i haven't had the chance to test it out, but that's a general idea. |
