For a 7 star song on 7key difficulty, it's note chart doesn't seem very beginner friendly, like they expected players to have a good amount of experience first before trying it. Same thing with Snow. Summer Vacation and Nenemis are also suprising choices to me, since they aren't that easy to pass starting out. |
Thats because they arent supposed to be passes starting out. They have 5 key and Light for a reason. IIDX is supposed to be difficult, but they have included 5 key for the beginners.

They have to give players who have been playing the game for a while some sort of incentive to get the US release. They also will need to create some room to grow so people are not bored out of their mind by the game. I think the song choices are good so far.

PSM might show up. It's vastly easier than stuff like Colors for example.
That's looking less likely, however. The RemyWiki has 12 5key, 25 7key, and 7 licenses, for a total of 44 songs from screenshots. |

With all the beatmania US hype, now would be the time for me to ask this question: Would it have an Extra Stage background when played in Arcade/Regular Mode? As in single-A'ing a Level/7-star Another in Hard/Challenge Mode on the Final Stage, specifically in beatmaniaIIDX mode.

The IIDX version of PSM is extremely easy compared to a lot of songs.

ebgames.com has $60 bundles, blows that that's the only game store close to me. 2 day shipping on amazon brings the $50 close to that, so I might as well pay $60 anyway to get it on the 15th, but it still blows that it's higher than the msrp. |
