Last time I checked, "A" was only 1:45, as Jason above had said.

But on another note, try to side with the ITG haters. I play ITG almost exclusively now, but I remember where my roots came from. I really like DDR too, but there isn't a new mix available (ever?) and I've become tired of the same old songs. Tell them to come try a few songs, and maybe they'll see how much fun it is. You can even bait them in with "Typical Tropical" and "Bumblebee", hehe.

This one included E13.gif This isn't to say there won't be a new release. I've heard all sorts of arguments as to why not but I believe a company the size of Konami can overcome such obstacles. Anyway the people who are saying not to hate on DDR are correct - you won't get anywhere with 'fanboys' if you come down to their level (which they really just want an argument) Just stick to the position that ITG has its own thing going on and not playing it is like refusing to play with Transformers just because Go Bots came along first.

There's no need to do anything to the bullies -- just ignore them and wait for them to eventually go blind from spending their lives staring at the jagged, pixelated, jerky, 2D, 8-bit-looking, fruity, color-changing DDR arrows. And once they're blind, steal their tokens.

Note: Stealing from the blind is morally wrong.

person2-I heard JSB did once, and all DDR machines within ten miles exploded and orphans flooded the arcade and carried JSB out with the ITG machine into a grassy field where he played guitar for them with his wang.

How come? The guy simply asked for ways to politely ward off the haters who go "OMG ITG SEK COZ IT TEH SEYM AS TEH DEEDEEARR!"...

If you could tell us exactly what you see as "compliment fishing", we might understand your point of view, perhaps.

They're both good, so just try to convince people to try it out.

But really, ITG is menacing. I mean, when I first tried it I was so intimidated. It's much harder. I mean, I can pass everything but the Max's on DDR, and that's more of a health problem then anything. So when I played ITG and couldn't beat some of the nine footers, was worn out from hands and mines, and realized that I couldn't beat HALF of the hardest level songs. After playing it for a while it was different. But I'm sure if I hadn't purchased it before playing it at the arcade, I might not have spent the 75 cents to play it. It is definitely intimidating,

Just tell them that you got tired of AAA'ing PSMO and that you needed a challenge. While they might be fine choking out a C to Heaven is a Gray '57, you have much more difficult songs to work through.

Nice.

But back on topic, I like the idea of saying you were just looking for a new challenge. I know thats why I like ITG so much.

Pretty much all of them are a bit older than me, but I can beat most of them in a DDR matchup anyways.

How do I get these sorts of people to leave me alone?

I kinda have that same problem, not so much though. What i do is just stay quiet and keep playing my songs, BUT when they come over to look at your screen that you're playing on then begin to play songs such as Vertex on expert and/or any song that is higher than a max ddr rating of 10 (aka: 11, 12, 13). That or you could do songs such as Queen of Light expert and/or Bend your mind expert (doubles looks VERY impressive....especially when you have to hit the 6 notes at one time).

...if all else fails, just ignore them. They're 1) being immature 2) From what i've learned in a semester in college psychology, they are subconsciously expressing their insecurities (aka: they are afraid that you might be better than them).

Hope this was of some help E1.gif

let me place the "finishing blow" on this Ivan....

If its not for ITG ppl who play DDR wouldn't get better for playing other song on DDR and ITG is more of a challenge.....

DDR is great for starters but the damn Konami US ppl are screwin up placing B.S. eazy song on the DDR games which is not satisifiying other experienced DDR players.... ITG andswered our prayers and gave us a greater challenger and more songs to pick....

And one more fact

You are not a true video game dance player if you don't at least try it out before B**ch'n say either DDR or ITG sucks....
