starting 11/12's

I can get through almost all the 10's pretty well at this point, but as soon as I venture onto an 11 I get crushed every time. Any tips on the easiest ones to start with? Which ones did you beat first?

Easiest 11 is charlene
Easiest 12 is vertex

For me, easiest 11 to pass is Utopia, easiest twelve to pass was...aha...actually...it was Tell but do Vertex haha.

Charlene is hard as fuck for me, and Utopia's middle section is murder if you can't flail your way through it... however, all the 11s are that hard.

Really, all the 11s are about equally difficult in different ways. If you're having trouble with the "easiest" 11s, try the other ones, they might be easier for you. The Beginning was one of my first 11s, and many people say it's the hardest. See what works for you.

If you're around an ITG2 machine, I found that Mythology (an 11 on ITG2) is pretty easy. It's just that one hard part at the end that you can BS. I also find Xuxa and Utopia pretty easy as 11's (aside from Charlene...it's fairly tiring and has a crapload of mines).

As far as 12's go, most people say Tell is the easiest to pass, but I haven't passed it because I can't BS stuff that well. My first 12 was Go 60 Go and then I passed HotN right after (which most believe is one of the harder 12's lol). Vertex is easy for a 12, but there is that doggy end to deal with.

If I remember right, when ItG1 was first released, Xuxa was supposed to be the benchmark 11; anything easier than that was a 10 (or lower). Utopia is another relatively easy one - one longish run, some weird tech stuff, and some spins. July was actually the first 11 I passed ... faster than Xuxa, but none of the runs are very long.

As for Charlene ... while I find Charlene to be the easiest of the 11s to do with my fingers, with feet it's a whole 'nother story (stupid mines!).

Yeah, Xuxa is easy cheese.

Charlene has too many mines (or else it would have been easy cheese).

Utopia has too much BS (or else it would have been easy cheese).

The 12s are all nasty. Vertex isn't so bad once you know the bpm changes (if it weren't for the slowdowns, it'd be easy cheese).

Delirium is an 11 up until the end run (if it weren't for the end run... it would have been ____ _______).

Tell isn't too bad if you get bring up your stamina a little and BS your way through the step-step-into jump parts.

HCotN is all about the stamina. If you can run and not stop, you can pass.

thanks guys, I finally beat xuxa, definitely the easiest. The mines on charlene still kill me, and the beginning has a few too many steps...I almost made it through delerium but the end run is hard to maintain.

i don't get why everyone thinks summer is so easy, its 8th notes at 370 BPM, while pandy is at 330
