My friend said slow songs were harder because it's harder to count. However, I think fast songs because of the Max songs are 10-footers, but Sakura or Bag was a 10-footer and they're slow, I think.......(Sorry if it doesn't belong here.....)

I find slow songs to be harder. I'll press too soon or too late or something... I dunno. Max is really fast and really hard... but I guess once you know the steps it gets easyer. I'm a 7 to 9 footer... I haven't really even tried any of the Maxes because I know I'd fail.

I think fast songs... Slow songs with no beat are really hard but once u catch the beat there a piece of cake!

It actually depends because there are hard fast songs and hard slow songs. The fast songs almost always are stamina-based songs (aka: TLOM, PSMO, etc...) with a twist of timing and different assorted arrow timings(aka: 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th, etc...). On the other hand, the slow songs tend to be more timing and different arrow timing oriented (aka: Bag, Sana ne ente Mollete (something like that spelling), etc...). So, therefore you could consider either of them hard. It just depends on what you're best at.

Me, personally, though, i consider the fast songs difficult... although i'm getting progressively better at them. I've beaten them all except for PSMO. I got the first suicide run.... then i just completly died away and Boo'ed it to death riiight.gif .

Paranoia Brothers brings up a good point. In general I find slower songs to be harder because I tend to rush and I'm sometimes a little early when I step. I also find it harder to read the arrows on songs that have a high density of steps.

Why thank you very much. It's flattering really. I thought for a second there when i was making this that everyone was going to disagree with me.... i guess i'm not alone after all nerd.gif Anywho, i forgot to add something to my post: What i also find hard is when you combine the two together. When you take a song that is "crazy" fast and a twist of non-4th beat arrows...that's when it gets tricky. Although i learn fast, i found it difficult to do TLOM when it slows down... but i HAVE beaten that song on heavy x1.5... i only got a C though riiight.gif

slow songs: hard without speed mods, easy with.

fast songs: allways stamina based. no technicality to them, its just speed and stamina.

faster songs are harder than slow songs without speed mods. (unless you learned DDR reading dense arrows from konamix) but when speed mods become involved with slow songs, theyre cake.

Paranoia Brothers is correct, they are hard for their own reasons. I have harder times on the slow songs, but each to his own. but Sana is EXTREMELY easy on 2x. Like, unbelieveaby easy.

I have harder times with slow songs simply because I just react too fast.

Ya, I've always thought this was weird: In Ultramix 1, it is spelled Santa Mollete Ne Ente. But on all songlists and on stepcharts, it's spelled Santa Morrete Ne Ente. I'm very confused. E19.gif

Slow songs are way harder for me because I'm used to fast songs. The only reason that's so is cause I got addicted to speed mods. Now LoM even seems like a moderate speed to me. E4.gif

It's just a different romanization. The most used spelling is Sana Morette Ne Ente (*not* Santa).

I say that fast songs are hard because of stamina issues, but slow songs are hard to read and often don't have much of a beat...

Thank you, Paranoia Brothers, for making this good point E1.gif
