Not quite. Listen to the song. You can hear them saying "jah neh jah nah" fairly clearly. (Soft 'j', by the way.) |

OP is wrong. Gradiusic Cyber is pronounced... Gradius-ic... not that hard...
And whoever said DXY is Dixie... yeah... look at my name... That's how you say it. _________________

All of these pronunciations are useless, because they don't show where the stress is.
For example, soo-gah-roo could mean SOO-gah-roo, or it could mean soo-GAH-roo. I've heard it both ways. The first one is correct.
Irresistibilement is:
ear-ray-zee-STAY-blay-mohn. |

Japanese is a rather monotone language; they don't stress specific syllables. Native speakers use a pitch accent. |

Gradiusic... Wouldn't that be pronounced more like Grade-i-uss-ic? _________________

Sakura is pronounced like "Sock-oo-rah". As for Irresistibilement, if it's really pronounced all crazy like Den said then that's just weird. I'm gonna keep saying "Irresistible" followed by "ment". Tsugaru should be "Tsoo-gah-roo", with no stress on any specific syllable. It's not "TSOO-guh-roo", it's "tsoo-gah-roo". I'm kinda confused on Gradiusic Cyber, since all the pronunciations you guys have listed have been conflicting with one another. I've always sai "GRAD-ee-OO-zick SAI-berr", but now I'm seeing it pronounced with a random "t" after "Gradius", or with an "A" sound like in "hay" instead of like in "grass". |

Jane jana-JAH-NAY-JAH-NAH
and on to the hard ones...
MAX300-pronounced as MAA-KKKS three hundred
Maxx unlimited -some say MACKS-ECKS (alot in japan) i
i use MACKS unlimited
AND FOR GODS SAKE.
CANDY (star) is
NOT
AND I MEAN NOT!
called CANDY UNLIMITED.
it is called
candy, candy-star
the other one is called
candy-heart,or candy vocal. |

Thank you very much but i'm taking Japanese... it's pronounced:
Sakura= Sah-kur-ah
So, yes, i DO know "anything" about Japan. I do plan to be an interpreter when i get out of college (probably 5-6 languages... already know some)... Think before you speak next time |
Uhh......sorry that wasn't directed to you.....and the pronounciation you just gave was the same one I said just spelt out diffrent.... |

No. It is most definitely Sah - Koo - (L-R)ah. Which means Cherry Blossum or anything really associated with cherries except for the fruit itself which is: Sakuranbo
It may sound like Sa-Kra when a Japanese person says it fast, but the "u" is not silent. There is only one truly silent character in all of Japanese and it is a small "tsu", which signifies a pause. The reason I put (L-R), is because it's not a "r". In English we don't have a character that sounds like the Japanese "L-R" sound, so we just use an "r", even though is sounds more like a mix between an "L" and a "D". |

Hope this make sense. This is the closest example I can come up with. Just use beginning sound of each word.
Sa Ku Ra
Silence Clue Line |
