Ok, first off, my local arcade is a Chuck E. Cheese...
Yeah...>.>;
Well, they got 2 Solo 2000/Bass Machines, and yesterday, I went there only to find that they both were "Temporarily Out of Service"
So with all the Chuck E. Cheese commercials that CLEARLY show both PIU Exceed AND DDR Extreme, I'm confused as hell, especially when a guy I know that works at CEC says that they're getting new pads.
If they just replace the Bass style, no-bar pads, I'll be pissed at the lack of songs (37 and Megamixes)
If they get normal pads and attempt to hook them up, we'll have a mutant Extreme Bass 2000 machine.
If they dump the machines and get anything but an Extreme or 5th Mix, I'll be pissed as hell.
If they get a ****ing PIU Exceed, like the commercial shows, I'll never come back again. _________________

The other day I saw the video for Somnambulist. _________________

I wouldn't say it's harder than ddr. I think it's just a matter of getting used to the new orientation of the arrows. _________________

Some years ago when DDR was still new, I witnessed a few people going at it in the arcade. So I went to try it out and got hooked and now it's something I do all the time when I can. _________________

The timing window is huge in PIU, agreed. But, it is harder to pass songs just because of the level of difficulty. PIU songs generally have far more 16ths than DDR have.
Back on topic, I saw DDR in my local news. _________________

Just for the record, this conclusion has been met: "We here at Andamiro don't believe in playtesters. We also think that having a freeze in the middle with arrows all around it is a good idea. In addition, we like have to have sex with animals." Official statement from their website. |

I saw DDR at my school! It was DDR Max 2 and really really really really really really really really really really really reallyreally really really really really really really really really really really reallyreally really really really really really really really really really really reallyreally really really crappy wireless pads. In order to get them to work, you seriously had to put the wireless thingy beside the other wireless thingy so that they were touching. And even then, they still sucked. You think a school (with 400+ kids playing DDR every day) would have enough sense to buy some good metal pads! |

When you copy and paste stuff, make sure to press the Space Bar once in a while. ^^ But hey, DDR at school. We need more of that. ^^ |
