People calling me a noob because I dont give a damn about my score. I've been playing since late 2000, never had an arcade AA since I played standard on 3rd mix. I dont care about score, I dont see why I should . |
I'm so embarrassed from a time that I was in an arcade............
(I'm sharing the story with you people....)
I'm Playing Caotain Jack at the arcade, and my brother's watching me. These two asian girls come up and put a coin at the machine, but I didn't see it, because I was doing freestyle, and had my back turned at the moment. So, when I turn around, I see the coin there. NOT ONCE HAS A COIN LINE BEEN DONE TO ME. So, while I'm doing captain jack on heavy, I look at the coin, and I asked my brother:
"Did someone leave that coin there?"
(I'm such a noob)
And as I was gonna reach for the coin, the two asian girls start making a fuss before I could even grab it. I apologized, and resumed playing.
They began talking Sh!t while I was playing, and I didn't do so well on Captain jack. So, I played Little B!tch, to see if they would get the message. I felt bad, but I apologized, and they shouldn't have resumed making fun of my noobishness.
So, they kept on talking and talking, and I had to shut them up.
I put Sakura on Heavy, pulled off as many freestyling moves as I could, and managed an A, all while finishing with a knee-drop on th last arrow.
I left a few people's mouth wide opened that day. _________________

what annoys me the most when I'm playing...
I'd say when I'm playing a Cata, someone (of any age) will ask me how long I've been playing, "how do I do that", and if I play DDR for a work out....luckily, out of the times that I was asked these questions...I was nice enough of to answer them in a quick timely fashion while bustin' out CSFILSM... _________________

Little kids running across the pad as I am trying to play, and little kids/parents asking me a bunch of questions. When I was playing Holic on heavy, I had this girl about 6 come up to me and started asking me like:
"How do you move your feet so fast?"
"How long have you been playing?"
"Is that hard?"
etc. etc. for most of the song. PLEASE! I will be happy to answer your questions, but not when I'm in the middle of a song. _________________

When Light people pick all the songs without even telling me or asking me if I want to pick. Since I'm not really the angry type, I don't really do anything. Maybe I should... |

The three top things that irk me are:
1. blatant coinline ignoring "cause I've only got a few minutes before my next class"-- yeah whatever
2. people who want to talk to me, not during something like "Butterfly", nooo, they wait till "Exotic Ethnic" (Mark, if you ever read this )
3. people that tell me not to use 1.5-- thank you I'll use any speed I want |

Things that annoy me at home:
1. Family walking in on me when Im playing and try telling me things (now I lock my door)
Things at Arcade
1. People talking to me in the middle of songs
2. People trying to impress everyone around them by doing a freestyle move but missing most of the arrows and scoring a D
3. People who try shadowing when your CHOOSING a song (i wasn't even playing and some kid jumped on the pad stomping, so i pushed him off )
Thats all i can think of now |

When noobs/spectators watch a better player than you, then turn and let you know how inferior you are to them.
I also love it when someone jumps on the other side of the pad during a doubles game...and stay there...despite the fact that you keep running them over. _________________

When people watch me I play better, especially people I want to impress (such as girls). When people who are obviously better than me play against me, I do worse. _________________

Taking 324028340324324324783247238 mins. to pick a song.
Then going through them 3209483204983290432 times...and still not being able to pick a song. |

Dude, there is nothing wrong with doing this in my opinion. Sometimes you need a breather. If I'm really tired, sometimes I use the full 60 seconds from the song selection screen and the full 30 seconds from the options screen. _________________

I wasnt stating a rest period..
If youre gonna stand there and scoll through every single song...that can get annoying.
just my opinion. |

Well, if someone needs a rest, would you rather have them scroll through the wheel, or would you rather have them leaning against the bar while you listen to the same song clip loop for 90 seconds? |
