I quit for about 6 months... maybe off and on with some freestyle(the best part about the game) stuff, but even that didnt keep my interest long... (not freestyle as far as knee drops and hand plants, but actually trying to make it look good, flow and moves and stuff like that)... then my friend Taio had a tourney back in June 2004 and since I was considered old school he asked me to come...a lot of people that I remembered watching just starting out were actually pretty good... i practiced for like a week before the tourney, still owned a few of them... after that, I got dedicated to it... now I have AAAs, and a ton of AAs... and even trying to AA maxx 300... but now it is starting to get old again... so it will probably be another month before I give it up...

probably off and on freestyling again...

I actually sorta had to quit because I quit my job for a long time and didn't get a new one, so I ran outta money cause I had to pay my bills.
There was a period about a few weeks after not playing where I seriously began having dreams, and whenever I was near a DDR machine it was like it was calling me to come play, and no it was the annoucer guys voice.
So I began scrouging up my pennies and rollin' 'em up and eventually I played again and still do fairly consistently eventhough I still don't have a job and I lost my girlfriend and my parents bug my about not having a job...I'm so lame right now.
Have I thought about quitting? HELL NO! I'm a bigger guy and I play until my quads feel like lead and it's like i just can't take it anymore, a little rest and i'm back on the pad.

Step! STEP!

Well, there was this day when I just totally lost my self esteem. I was really upset that I was not getting any better. So I was considering quiting, but then I realized it was a foolish reason and managed to improve! E1.gif
