Also, in New York there was an Extreme machine with an extremely old pad. the left arrow wasn't looking too healthy. I was wearing big shoes and all off a sudden I hear a *crack*. Bye bye left arrow. I felt really bad (I don't even weigh that much, 100 lbs). My face turned bright red.

I've also had a bad pants experience. I was playing Matsuri Japan with lo-rise jeans on and halfway through my pants fall down...my brother and all my friends were watching but I leave them down because I had a full combo going and I didn't want to screw it up. I am the only girl in a group of guys...they won't let me live it down. riiight.gif

i'm always tripping and sliding all over the place so i don't have a particular experience but a friend of mine once played some insane sonh like sakura or something on heavy, and it wasn't untill he already got into that he realized his fly was down. Let me tell you he didn't enjoy that one.

I fell clear off the machine while doing R&P once laugh.gif. I hadn't warmed up before I played and I sort of tripped while doing a crossover. Lucky no one was around though, I jumped back on and got a C frown.gif.

Well, this wasn't really on a machine, it was a metal pad setup for a mini-tournament at a "Dance Marathon" event we had at the college. There were lots of girls there and after the mini-tourney was just freeplay. So this one match I'm just helping this guy out cuz he's a beginner and all so I choose easy songs. He wanted a fast/hard song for the final. So I chose "Can't Stop Fallin' in Love (Speed Mix)". By then, some odd number of about 7-10 people were watching (6 of them females mind you around the DDR setup). So I'm acting all cool and stuff and I'm like thinking "yes, this is it... CSFIL on heavy... ULTIMATE crowd pleaser!!!" I'm looking down on the pad and just simply nodding while waiting for the beginning of the song (prolly imagine how "cool" I tried to look even before the song started). Song begins and I'm off to a good start. Then towards the middle my left hits the edge of the pad (while doing turns) and my ankle got totally sprained while almost completely falling over. I acted cool and tried to continue. I took like maybe 20 more steps before I simply had to get off and started jogging around the area because of the pain... I was like, damn... Failed. lol

I had this red shirt on that had the letters DDR on it using yellow tape with quotes written on the letters, such as "burning cell phone", "disco bobbing", etc. So yes, I must've totally looked like an absolute fool with those chains of events coming together *sigh*. It was fun though!

Anything done on an Arcade machine belongs in the DDR Arcade forum to preserve organization. Plus we have an Arcade experiences sticky in there as well.

It's all right there.
