My Sisters and some cousins are DDR FReaks.
Its not that bad in Illinois.
there was a few girls at the last arcade i went to.
2 were dancing on a seperate machine and we were on another one.

Anyway at the arcade i play at there are AT LEAST 10 girls that play. They range from light to standard to med-Heavy to 9-10 footer level and the 'types' range from the pretty ones with makeup to the tomboys like me

I see some people who play casually but then there are a lot of players who play regularly....and then those that play insanely.

There aren't too many people who play doubles regularly but i guess it's safe to say i'm the best girl doubles player at my arcade... 7-9 Heavy where the 9 at the moment = CSFIL:SM

but i'm close to getting more.... played Double less than a year and single just over. There's another girl who's better at single than me in many ways.... but i dunno if she passed Sakura liek i have

I know there's some really good female players on this board, but I just realised something. Is there any really good female players who plays on 1x and no bar even on maxes? I know Saenoda and Kitty are good and use the bar or mods. I think it's the same thing with Clover, but not so sure on this one. Anyway, I was just wondering

Yeah, it think when you're shorter you need stronger arm because you have to bend them. I used on some occasions when people were daring me to play a song with the bar and it wasn't really comfortable... but... when you can follow HVAM on 3x you realize it does help even if you're really small (I'm 5'6'' btw). Do you or Clover play maxes?

I got my sister to play, but she overplays EotC (Light) and In the Navy '99 (Light and sometimes Standard) I tried to get my girlfriend to play but she refuses. Which is funny, since we met through DDR and LOVES to watch me play.

Nani? of course girls play DDR =) Where i go there's a couple who do play, hell, a couple are better than me (by a lot =P) not that it's a suprise ^^ Maybe there's less girls because it's a video game. Open minded gals will try to play, others (not necessarily doggy) will just dish it because its a video game. anyway, my friends don't play DDR, guys or gals =( they tried like once, then they stop and play initial D ver.2 >_<

Everyone always wonders where the girl ddr players are?? Only some like to be seen playing I believe, my g/f only plays at home cause she does'nt like to play in front of a lot of people, its to much pressure for her....

The only mod I use is 2x, and sometimes I'll do six-option if I feel like it. I don't use the bar, because I feel that I'm a little too tall to use it effeciently, and I've just never had a desire to use it. (remember in California that using the bar = lame) I don't do the Maxes because it's not my idea of fun to be gasping for air after I'm done playing DDR. I'm a PA'er.

I haven't been playing DDR as much anymore, though. (first it was IIDX that was distracting me, and now I've switched into my RPG geek mode again)

But like I've said before, IIDX-playing girls are harder to find than DDR-playing girls. I'm the only girl in my town that plays IIDX...
