If you think it's it a good idea, then go for it. Dont let other peoples opinions stop you from being creative. It would make an interesting original trick. But if you're goal is to learn freestyle, I wouldn't go in that direction. |

I saw a video of one guy actually doing this. I think it was "One Two." Only problem was, the guy was huge, and didn't have his pants fully up. You think of the rest. It was an awful sight.

Well I'm not a big person so if I ever tried it out I don't think I'd have a problem with my pants. I'd prolly have to tuck my shirt in though since I'm a girl cuz I wouldn't want to show... |

I've only tried at home with a chair since I don't have a dance pad with a bar(I don't have a dance pad at all actually). I keep slipping off, it's hard |

Well keep in mind that a chair and the bar will likely be very different and it may make it easier or harder at the arcade depending on your height. I would say go for it, but be careful . _________________

Very good. Especially for a pop-and-lock freestyle. It's hard to pop to DDR. Everything looks pretty solid and natural. It flows well. There's actually a video thread buried somewhere in this forum, although it's pretty much dead. Good work though, and keep it up! |

yup none has been posting on it, due to a lack of places to host videos.
anywayz, does anyone know if someone has done a routine on Colors? i wanted a general idea on what i got against on freestyling to that song, i got some idea on what i'm going to do but not really sure if it is better than someone who has done a routine on it, unless i'm the first one to think of a routine on that song but i doubt it. |

Hooking your leg on the bar and using your hands to hit the arrows is a pretty good move - can't do it in my local, though, 'cos there're two machines back-to-back.
And some sort of agreed upon video server would be a good idea - every video I've tried to view in this thread has given me the ol' 404. _________________

Sorry, I switched servers. Oolong was gracious enough to host a few videos for me. I updated the link to my video, so it works again. Also, you can always check out my videos at my site. |

Not to discourage anyone, but hooking your legs on the support bar and slapping arrows with your hands is not going to award you anything but hand herpes.
Has anyone ever won a legitimate tournament in the past two years by doing a bar trick? Chances are no. =\
Seriously, guys. Just learn to dance, and then bring it to the pad. _________________
