There is only one home version, and it's on Japanese PS2. It's based on 1.5 Mix in the arcade.
The controllers go on the floor, unlike the arcade, but they work much the same. You just wave your hand over them. _________________

Yeah, I have it and don't regret getting it. Just make sure that if you buy it, you realize before buying that you are buying the controller for ONE version of ONE game, only. There will not be a sequel. It is pricey (could be $100 or more depending on where and how you get it), so make sure you'll get your money's worth before you jump in.

Also, make sure you make a photocopy of the little paper the sensors are on. The one Konami gives you is thin and rips up REAL easily (because most people have a tendency to step on it and mangle it =P).
And don't consider the crappy Dreamcast homemade version. _________________

speaking of the paper that the sensors go on,, does anyone have a spare, or could make me a copy.
I've been playing w/ out the controller and just learning the routines _________________

just FYI for BakaOrochi.... The dreamcast is NOT a real game....It's a cheap knock-off of the PS2 version. The game isin't official...from wha i know, some ppl in Hong Kong decided to make it...I THINK...im not sure dat what i heard.... But i can assure you the the game is NOT an official Konami Bemani game....Although, after i saw the song list for it...make it kinda tempting to buy since it has Ike Ike on it...gosh i love that routine... _________________

Yes. I know. I have a friend who bought it because no one else did, just so they could see for themselves what it was.
Hence why I said it was "homemade." _________________

Word to the wise, spend 3 dollars to get glasses cleaning cloth to wipe off the sensors becuase after a mere week dust will be on them, unless you take the time to fold it up and put it back in the box every time.
And can you hook a PPP controller up to the PC and paly SM ver. PPP? _________________

As far as I know, there are no drivers for the PPP sensors (so the PC can recognize what the USB device is for), therefore, no it won't work for your PC. _________________

For cleaning the controller, cottonballs and rubbing alcohol work very well. But everytime I start it up I at least wipe them off with somthing or blow on them to get the excess dust off them.
One thing you really need to watch out for is the tape that Konami originally put on the sensors sensitivity wheels, take my and others advice, NEVER TAKE IT OFF UNLESS IT IS ABSOLUTLY NECESSARY. I've had the controller for a little over a half year now and have never even touched the tape .
I was thinking of getting somthing like the PPP arcade where the sensors were on the top. I wanted to get the actual platform and mess around with the wiring to get it to work with USB, or just build somthing like it and make custom sensor pods out of the IR's inside of the original PPP home version pods and mount them on the top, like a PPP ASC!!! but here I am a 1/2 year later STILL hesitating to take it apart because I've heard it's very easy to wreck the IR, like as easy as putting undeveloped pictures in the light?
