i read back and didnt see anything on this, so i was wondering if the unlock system for songs and courses (i know unlocking characters was covered) is the same as like in DDRMAX2, with the points in a way. i realize that there are no points now, otherwise it would display that, but it seems like i have been playing a whole ton and getting nothing for it

No, it's not point based. No one has any idea what it's based on, because no one has the same unlock order.
If you want to unlock songs, play arcade mode ONLY - Nonstop and Oni don't appear to count for regular song unlocks most of the time. max.(period) is the last unlock there.

ok, a few days ago, i went to a local gamestore and asked if they modded ps2's. they just plainly respond "thats illegal." so.... how am i supposed to get it modded by a pro if its "illegal" gah, i must have this game!! +

Instead of bumping old OLD topics, try using the MODCHIP sticky in the DDR CONSOLE forum
