Original was much better, Just because it was so much more beautiful and serene, and displayed the story of the song better, Angelic is decent too, I like how it focuses on the moment of losing life, how it races through, as if seeing everything flash before your eyes, and whatnot. _________________

... that's word for word with my definition, with the exception of was... I use is there. and the fact that original was much better.
I love both of them. Healing Vision for the fact that it's the original, and the fact that it's a very calming song. And Angelic Mix, for the challenge it poses, trying to full combo that is as hard as anything. (I'm 4 away!) Plus, the upbeat feel of the music gets me that much more into it. |

I think with the whole heart monitor thing, I wish during the tempo stop that in the background there would be a scream of "CLEAR!" and then an electric-static-y noise. |

By the end, its like your some sort of hospitalized patient on the verge of death and your racing to survive as the beeping is getting faster and faster. Then the pause comes and its like your heart stops for a second. Very cool. Almost suspensful even.

(Not only does the song stop for a second, but immediately then the background beep flatlines until the last 2 seconds of the song, before the finale of a double beat, suggesting that the patient has revived)
Song wise: I used to be a great fan of the original initially (it flows very well). However, recently I have decided that I prefer HV:AM - Whilst the background beep is mildly annoying at the start (being out of tempo with the rest of the song) it becomes more interesting when it reaches the middle of the song (0:53) and starts acting erratically (I imagine that as the cardiac monitor's warning alarm).
(I reckon there is the potential of a really good animation waiting to be made, using HV:AM as a background track - if only I had a free year I'd make it!)
Step wise: the original mix 0wns. |
