DDR dissed by MM

The list was rather underwhelming. I expected something funny and it seems like something a 10 year old would write. I don't understand how any of you could seriously be offended by someone who says "dork radiation." Not to mention the "complexed" questions. If it wasn't for that error I would have assumed some kid wrote this and put it through a spell check to make it look presentable.

Oh and emailing him/them is just encouragement. Why even waste your time? I thought the Philadelphia Inquirer article would have been more offensive to everyone since it basically says the good players are socially inept losers and playing it makes you look stupid.

Hmmmmmmmm well....another opinionated topic...all I have to say is...some are going to like DDR and some arent. It's just a fact of life. If we all liked DDR this world would be boring...having someone oppose DDR makes the scene a bit more interesting to me I believe...

People can have their own opinion; that's fine.

But when someone writes a humor article, I would hope that it would be humorous.

If you are going to diss the Dancing Game, make it funny.

Also, when you play, more often than not, you look like a f.ucktard when you play hard songs on heavy.

While I've always wanted to spray WD-40 on the bar just before an identified bar rapist started playing, I don't think I'd actually do that. There's not much that you can bring to an arcade that will overpower the subwoofers of a DDR machine, though. Also, I wish someone would try to stand within talking distance of me and ask me stupid questions. I'd simply let my arms go loose and whack them in the face a few times while still playing.

Whereas if someone were to test the unplugging thing, say, when and if I am like FCing So Deep or something, there would be one less person in the arcade (living at least).

I think the writer of that list is just jealous of all the attention the DDR players were getting. In Ocean City, NJ on a summer weekend, it's not uncommon to have 30+ people watching someone play DDR.

9. Use one of the guns from a shooter game to aim at the DDR players' feet, and in your best cowboy impression command them to dance.

Actually, I found that one pretty funny. The rest is kinda blah. I'll take the same view as most, that he could at least be wittier when he mocks DDR. Kinda like in that one comic he did a while back where one of the characters plants a mine on the pad (it graces my desktop as wallpaper).

I know it was supposed to be humorous, but it wasn't exactly Tim Allen. I found nothing funny. That humor's as dry as the Sahara Desert. It's so corny that a farmer could harvest it. Honestly, it's cheesier than a Kraft factory! (Hey, these may be bad, but at least I'm funnier.) Frankly, Comedy Central's funnier, and they absolutely suck.

Grrr... reading that really pisses me off. It's sad when you have so much time on your hands that you write a top ten list on how to piss people off. Well at least I'm not killing myself with cigarettes.... He is probably so out of shape from smoking that he couldn't keep up with DDR even if he tried.

First Post: Does this thing have to stretch my avatar to 64x64? It's normally 50x50 and looks totally screwed up now.

Ironic thing is, I did #2 as part of a side challenge for the tournament I helped run last month. Someone was playing Sakura Heavy, and I stood on the other side of the pad playing Particle Man by TMBG. Highlight of the day, if you ask me.
