Joypad to USB is not showing and everytime i plug it in it either freezes or shows up as usb not recognized or malfunctioned

Ok i did that, it doesnt freeze anymore and the only thing on the floppy was a driver which i installed and i plug it in and it still doesnt recognize it and i dont see it in game controller, plz help ...

today i got my trio linker to use with my cobalt flux, and i plugged it in and everything freezes, as soon as i pull it out it unfreezes... what the hell? how do i fix this and how to i install this t ...
